Lead Abatement

Protect your home or business by contracting your remodeling projects with Lynch & Sons, Inc.

Lynch & Sons, Inc. is licensed as a lead abatement contractor with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

If your home or business was constructed prior to 1978, you may want to consider hiring a qualified builder whom is licensed in lead abatement.  This will assure the safety of you, your loved ones, employees and customers.

The EPA recommends the following steps to help protect your family from lead hazards:

Test all young children living in your home for lead even if they seem healthy.
bullet 
Wash children's hands, bottles, pacifiers, and toys often.
bullet 
Get your home checked for lead hazards.
bullet 
Regularly clean floors, window sills, and other surfaces.
bullet 
Wipe soil off shoes before entering house.
bullet 
Don't use a belt-sander, propane torch, heat gun, dry scraper, or dry sandpaper on painted surfaces that may contain lead.
bullet 
Don't try to remove lead-based paint yourself.
